Where is New Wine Church located?
New Wine Church is at 3135 Fort Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24502. We're easy to find off Fort Avenue with on-site parking. Get directions.
What time is Sunday service?
Sunday Worship Service starts at 10:30 AM Eastern Time and runs until about 12:30 PM. We also host a weekly Thursday Altar — an online prayer service — Thursdays at 7 PM Eastern.
Is New Wine Church non-denominational?
Yes. New Wine Church is non-denominational, apostolic, and prophetic. We're not affiliated with a specific denomination, but we are rooted in historic Christian orthodoxy and believe in the present-day work of the Holy Spirit, including spiritual gifts and prophetic ministry. What does "apostolic and prophetic" mean here?
Apostolic means we believe in the five-fold ministry described in Ephesians 4 — apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers — and that those gifts are active in the church today. Prophetic means we believe God still speaks, that the Holy Spirit gives prophetic words for encouragement and direction, and that worship and prayer are encounters with His presence. We are not Apostolic Oneness (UPCI) — we hold to a traditional Trinitarian view of God.
Can I attend New Wine Church online?
